First few mins and Doug brings up things that have been in either UConnect or the Grand Cherokee / Durango for years.....like Maserati invented the ideas. Finally brings up some of it at the end, but still, come on Doug!

When Doug started reviewing cars and pointing out “quirks” and stopped, for the most part, reviewing cars he owned is when I stopped watching his videos.

I love Doug, but I hate his hatred for Maserati.

Literally all of his videos that he explains the “quirks” other cars have had them for years and because his fanbase seems to be mostly kids now it doesn’t really matter.

Right, there was a bunch of stuff that he described as opulent and excessive in the F-250 Platinum that isn’t uncommon, and hasn’t been for years, on high-trim normal cars.

Yo Doug, what’d Appleton, Wisconsin do to that you have to mention it by name as a place that’s obviously too bumfuck to afford to lease a Ghibli for $699 a month?
Fuck your ill fitting t-shirt over an ill-fitting undershirt!

Kind of reminds me a bit of new world FP a bit.

I lived and worked in Appleton. Can confirm, unless your last name is Bergstrom.

Well yeah, you know that, I know that, but Doug doesn’t know that. He’s too busy getting excited about the buttons on the back of the steering wheel that my ’99 Grand Cherokee also had.

So yeah, the Maserati has the uconnect, overhead console, and steering wheel from the other FCA vehicles, makes sense. At least you get a nice fancy Maserati logo for the extra $40k over the cost of my pacifica minivan.

Yeah he has a friggin S-Cargo (does he still?) and we’ve seen nothing on it.
I bet he figured out that these get more views which equals cash money dollars. And now he’s slowly becoming another SaabKyle lol
He even has the same style of a repetitive intro and specific sentences, to the point of it being batshit crazy like SaabKyle is. I mean don’t get me wrong, the videos have their value and people who appreciate them. For a Croatian like me there is (almost) literally no other way of seeing what the interior of a glovebox of an 80's Suburban looks like, but come on there’s gotta be something wrong with a dude who makes over 2000 videos and says the exact same thing on each one.
Not sure if I’m talking about DeMuro or SaabKyle. I guess it applies to both now.

Waaaah, you have to go into the controls to turn on the heated seats, waaaah.
Then he shows this screen, which comes up during start-up when you’d most likely turn on the heated seats ANYWAYS.

Personally I much prefer heated seats having a dedicated button, particularly one you can leave in the on position for the duration of winter instead of having to turn it on every time you get in the car.
But then I think a lot of things being moved to the infotainment system should keep their designated buttons.

In my Durango, and most FCA cars I’m assuming, the heated seats stay on. If you had them on when you shut off the car, they’ll be on the next time you start it.
Or, if you’re using the remote start app on your phone, you can turn them on/off before you get in the car,
